Ainthesamewithoutu (Sweet Lou) surpassed the $100,000 mark in harness racing earnings this year with a wire-to-wire triumph in the $22,000 Fillies and Mares Open II Pace Friday (Dec. 15) at Hollywood Dayton Raceway.
The 9th race feature got underway with the race favorite Ainthesamewithoutu and driver Tony Hall leaving from post six to take early command with Lee Loo (Tyler Smith) getting the two-hole trip as the passed the opening quarter in :27.4.
On to the half mile and Ainthesamewithoutu led the way in :57. In the backstretch, JK’s Shining Star (Dan Noble) put in a first-over bid from fourth place that failed to advance as Aintthesamewithoutu led by one and one-half lengths at the three-quarters in 1:24.3.
Holding the field at bay, Ainthesamewithoutu led by two lengths at the top of the stretch for Tony Hall and won by two and one-half lengths in 1:52.2. Racing Glory (Austin Hanners) was second with Lee Loo third.
AINTHESAMEWITHOUTU REPLAY
It was the fourth win on the season for Ainthesamewithoutu. The four-year-old homebred mare was bred, trained and owned by Anette Lorentzon of Kentucky and paid $3.60 to win.
