Reminiscing about Rosecroft on Harness Racing Alumni Show

On this week’s Harness Racing Alumni Show, hosts Freddie Hudson and Bob Marks share with the audience…., “What Roosevelt Raceway was like in the mid 70’s.”

Bob refers to it as ‘its own city’ and Freddie say’s ‘it was like a military base’. Bob talks about the press box, and the various TV shows, while Freddie shares what a typical day for him as a trainer for Del Insko was like way back then. It’s a ‘Pre-Meadowlands” history lesson of what harness racing was like at the half mile oval showplace. You’ll get a candid, inside look at the famous Roosevelt Raceway when it was the “World Capital of Harness Racing”.
