Ring in the New Year at the Big M

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – The Meadowlands Racetrack closes out the 2022 harness racing season this Friday, December 30 and Saturday, December 31, post time is 6:20pm.

The Meadowlands closes out the year on Saturday with Fan Appreciation night.  Guests can enjoy $1 hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels and soda and $2 Bud and Bud Light from 6-11pm. The Saturday live racing programs will also be free for guests beginning at 5pm.

Those looking for a more upscale dining experience will enjoy the $64.95 (plus tax and gratuity) Pink buffet with a complimentary champagne toast for those 21 and older.  The menu features lobster bisque, a caprese salad and hummus platter for starters.  A horseradish crusted boneless rib steak is on the carving station with garlic-herb Atlantic salmon, homemade manicotti and chicken teriyaki rounding out the main courses.  Tiramisu, fresh fruit and homemade cookies and pies then round out the meal.

Following live harness racing, an enthralling fireworks display will take place to help ring in 2023.
