Hat Trick Tuesday for Jon Roberts

HARRINGTON, DE – Harness racing driver Jon Roberts scored a hat trick on the Tuesday Harrington Raceway program.

Roberts piloted a pair of Bart Bradley-trained winners, Remy Aurora ($4.20) and Fast N Relentless ($4.20) in addition to Purple Poet ($4.80) on the 14-race program.

In the $17,000 conditioned feature for pacers, Anthony Hill and Michael Hill’s Shesarocker ($19.60, Victor Kirby) was an upset winner in 1:54.4 over Precious Alexis and Intheskyrocket A.

Trained by Kirby, Shesarocker received a pocket trip before surging to victory by pacesetter Precious Alexis for a one length win. It was her 24th career win.

Drivers Montrell Teague and Pat Berry each had a double. Trainer Ron Short had a double. Live racing continues on a Monday through Wednesday schedule until October 20.
