11-1 Rock N Shard N upsets in Open

HARRINGTON, DE – Brendan Davis’ Rock N Shard N (Rocknroll Hanover) paid $25.80 to win for driver Tyler Davis with a 1:54.4 clocking Monday (Aug. 22) in the $20,000 Mares Open harness racing pace at Harrington Raceway.

The 8-year-old mare recorded her 5th win of the year for trainer/driver Tyler Davis, scoring a hard-fought victory from post position six. Cruzinforavictory led the field through fractions of 27.4, 56.2 and 1:25.3, while Rock N Shard gathered momentum three-wide and surged to the lead in the final strides over Peaks Cruiser. Cruzinforavictory held third.

ROCK N SHARD N REPLAY

One race earlier, George and Tina Dennis’ Mack ($6.80, Mike Cole) was an undercard winner in a $15,000 conditioned pace with a narrow win over Slick Tony and Got The Mojo in 1:52.1. The Joe Columbo trainee has been ultra-consistent all season and recorded his 2nd win of the year.
