The surface at Rosecroft Raceway is as good as it gets in harness racing. A lightning fast 5/8th mile oval did not disappoint last night (Nov. 3) as the two featured pacing events on the card produced terrific races.
Corey Braden and Transparency (Artspeak), sat the pocket and beat a game, pace setting, Walden Woods in 1:50.4 to take the $15,000 three- and four-year-old open.
It was the sixth win of the season for the four-year old homebred who was bred and owned by Tom Cooke and trained by Roger Hans.
In an upper-level conditioned event for $12,500, Eric Davis and Jack Roger won for the second time in four starts, cutting the mile in 1:50.3. It was a new lifetime mark for the eight-year-old son of (Rock N Roll Heaven), owned and trained by Katie Callahan.
Braden, Frank Milby, each won three times, while Jason Thompson and Jonathan Roberts each won twice. Trainers Michael Hall, Roger Hans and John Wagner all had two wins.
