Rosecroft hosting special live program

FORT WASHINGTON, MD – Rosecroft Raceway will offer a special live harness racing program Saturday on Breeders’ Cup Day. The 13-race program begins at 7:15 p.m. with a featured $10,000 Maryland Preferred Handicap Open Pace.

The 12th race main event features Precision Bluechip from post 8 for driver Russell Foster. A ten-time winner this season, Precision Bluechip has been dominating the Open ranks this year at Rosecroft. Also in the field is one of two three-year-olds going against older horses named Transparency. This son of Artspeak has five wins on the year, the fastest a 1:51.2 record and will be driven by Trae Porter.

Rosecroft will offer a special Breeders’ Cup Best Bet Package including a Breeders’ Cup Best Bet Buffet, Breeders’ Cup program, reserved seating, and entry in a grand prize drawing. Tickets are $32 in advance and on sale at the first-floor guest services booth. The first Breeders’ Cup race is scheduled to go off at 3:05 p.m. with the Classic scheduled at 8:40 p.m.
