Harness racing driver Jonathan Roberts and Judge Bob are an almost unbeatable combination at Rosecroft
Raceway this season.
Wednesday night the pair left from post eight and held off a pocket sitting, Northern Express, by a nose to win the $11,000 Open Trot in 1:55.4.
It was the eighth win of the year for the six year old gelded son of Great George Two, matching last years win total, and was his 29th career win in 95 starts and pushed lifetime earnings over $250,000. Megan Roberts trains and co owns the trotter with the Graham Grace Stables.
It was one of five wins on the night for Roberts. Frank Milby drove three winners, Trae Porter and Eric Davis each had a pair. Trainers Michael Hall and Don Milby had two wins each.
