Northfield, Ohio…August 5, 2025…The Great Lakes Amateur Driving Association (GLADA) returned to action at Northfield Park on Monday, August 4, with Sadodaka (Team Six) and driver Ryan Deaton teaming up for a handy score in 1:58.2.

The six-year-old daughter of Team Six blasted off the wings and out-gunned Bluebird Revival, handled by Christina Johnson around the opening bend and was never threatened while posting panels of :27.3, :58 and 1:27.4 while coasting home a four-length winner.

Baby Yoda, beginning from the outside post in this sextet, closed fastest of all of Edward Miller to get the show money, edging Over Six, handled by Larry Ferrari.

Game On Girls picked up the nickel for Peter Stratton.

SADOKA REPLAY

Trained by Cory Kreiser for J M F Racing of New Jersey, Sadodaka won for the fifth time in 23 starts, vaulting her 2025 bankroll to $23,994.

Lifetime, she’s been successful 22 times, good for $180,157 to go along with a career best 1:56.3 score over this same Northfield half-mile oval.

For Ryan Deaton, who has blossomed into a noteworthy trainer the past four seasons in Ohio, it was his 33rd career win in the sulky while making only an occasional appearance, himself, in the bike.

When GLADA returned to Northfield in May, it was also Deaton that reached the winner’s circle with another daughter of Team Six, Fred’s Dream Girl.

In a post-race interview, Deaton said, “Sadodaka is really handy to drive—just like a Cadillac—and she doesn’t get anxious, so she just took her time taking control entering the backside and so, instead of giving me the credit, let’s give it to her for making me look good!”

Sadodaka went to the gate as the 3 to 5 tote board favorite and returned a $3.40 mutuel to her multitude of faithful.
