September meet opens at Bangor Raceway on Wednesday

Bangor, Maine …. Maine harness racing action transitions back to Bangor Raceway’s commercial track meet this week, following the conclusion of the Pine Tree State’s summertime fairground circuit, with Windsor Fair’s traditional Labor Day performance now in the rear view mirror.

Bangor Raceway opens a four day September soirée beginning on Wednesday (September 3) with post time slated for 2:30 pm (EDT) for a pair of $17,212 Maine Sire Stakes events on the non-wagering card, before an action packed ten-race betting program begins at 3:00 pm.

The September soirée continues with a pair of 12:10 pm weekend performances on Saturday and Sunday (September 6 and 7) and will conclude with a 3:00 pm mid-afternoon card on Wednesday (September 10).
