Shea Lare scores first pari-mutuel driving victory

HARRINGTON, DE – Shea Lare notched his first lifetime harness racing driving win Wednesday (May 18) at Harrington Raceway with a 1:55.4 triumph aboard Fern Hill Flight.

Lare owns and trains the 4-year-old Source Of Pride gelding, who came home impressively in 27.1 seconds to win the 7^th race by three lengths. Lare, 20, is the son of long-time trainer/driver Kevin Lare.

Tlb Racing’s Remarkable De Vie ($8.80, Pat Berry) won the $15,000 featured Junior Open Trot in 1:55.1 over Monarch and Spee Club. Remarkable De Vie is trained by Traci Berry.

Driver Art Stafford Jr. continued to have the hot hand, with 4 wins on the card, after a 5 win night Tuesday. Corey Callahan and Pat Berry each had a double.
