HARRINGTON, DE – Niss Allen Inc.’s Skyway Bebop (Guccio) and driver Tony Morgan were 1:56.2 upset winners in the Wednesday (April 12) $20,000 Open Trot harness racing feature at Harrington Raceway.
The 6-year-old mare was prompted to the lead early from post position three, where she would march through fractions of :28.2, :57.4 and 1:27.
“Bebop” never relented and notched her 4thĀ win of the year narrowly over Swan’s Maid, who received a pocket trip, while Swan In Motion was third.
Trained by Tim Crissman, Skyway Bebop paid $27.40 to win. It was her 27thĀ career victory and one of four wins on the program for Morgan, who joined Allan Davis with a grand slam, including two victories for trainer Chuck Crissman Jr.

Elmer Fannin and Brent Fannin’s Zebulon (Father Patrick) with Jack Parker Jr. in the bike, notched a 1:56.3 win for trainer Carol Jamieson-Parker in an event for young trotters.
The 4-year-old gelding is out of the Breeders Crown winning mare Kadealia. He paid $3.20 to win. It was one of two wins for Parker on the card.
