HARRINGTON, DE – Bryan Truitt Jr.’s Slipinsidewayz (Badlands Hanover, $6.60, Victor Kirby) was a 1:57.4 winner in the $110,000 Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) 2-year-old harness racing pacing filly Tuesday (Oct. 10) at Harrington Raceway.
Trained by Bryan Truitt, the filly was a one-length winner on the front end for her 2ndĀ straight victory. Jett Propelled was second with Nova’s Baby Girl third.
SLIPINSIDEWAYZ REPLAY
In the $50,000 Kathleen Cain, Brenda Teague’s Tae (I’m Gorgeous, $3, Tony Morgan) prevailed in 1:52.2, equaling her lifetime mark at age 8. The mare set all the fractions and maintained a comfortable lead at the wire over Southwind Mina and Shield Maiden. It was her 5thĀ win of the year for her owner/trainer.
The race is named in honor of Cain, who worked as a receptionist at Harrington for nearly 50 years. She was in the winnerās circle for the blanket presentation joined by friends and family.
TAE REPLAY
Tyler and Brendan Davis’ Seamslilsassy (Badlands Hanover, $7.80, Allan Davis) won the $20,000 DSBF filly consolation in 1:58.4.
Corey Callahan had 3 wins on the card to give him 8 wins over the last 2 cards.
