Dayton, OH – An exceptional night at the office for harness racing driver Jeremy Smith as he scored a driving grand slam at Dayton Raceway on Wednesday, November 1.
Smith started things out winning Race 8 with Highlandbeachycove (Somebeachsomewhere) for trainer Tessa Perrin. Smith then turned a single into a double with Granite (Real Desire) in Race 11 for trainer Ken Rucker and a double into a hat trick in Race 12 with Western Exposure (Western Ideal) for trainer Jeff Brewer. Smith and Brewer would then team up to win Race 13 with Mayor Mittcheese (Betterthancheddar).
Driver Brett Miller celebrated a driving hat trick on the evenings card of racing piloting Crosswind Sammie (McArdle) for trainer Chris Mc Guire in Race 4, Rose Run Ulysses (Western Vintage) in Race 10 for trainer Kim Dailey and closed out the Wednesday card taking Race 14, the finale with Power Sweet (Betting Line) for trainer Jack Franklin.
Drivers Chris Page and Sam Widger had driving doubles.
