SOA of NY donates $5,000 to Tioga Downs Family

The Standardbred Owners Association of New York’s Board of Directors will donate $5,000 after the tragic fire of Thursday last, which took the lives of 30 harness racing horses.

SOA of NY President, Joseph Faraldo said “This was a tragic incident for the Morris family which took the lives of 12 of their beloved animals and will have a serious impact on the lives of this family.  Hopefully, our donation will help ease their pain and assist them in recovering some of their losses and help rebuild their barn.”

The outpouring of support for all those who suffered is being met by admirable contributions from all across the global harness racing community and all the wonderful people in our sport.
