SOA/NY recognizes Brennan’s 11,000th win

On June 30, George Brennan drove 2nd favorite, Dibaba N trained by Jose Godinez to victory at Yonkers Raceway in race 5 to pick up career win number 11,000!

George became only the 11th North American driver to reach 11,000 career wins.

In his illustrious career, George has 20 years with over 2000 drives with a career high in 2010 with 3045 drives. George’s horses have earned nearly $188 million (8th all-time) on 66,000 drives and has achieved $5 million in earnings annually 18 times with a career best in 2011 with $14.5 million. George’s career high in wins came in 2011 with 753.

August 6, 2011 – Who could forget that day when George won the $750,000 Hambletonian Oaks with Bold and Fresh and then 35 minutes later winning the $1.5 million Hambletonian with Broad Bahn.

This year at Yonkers, George is 3rd in drives with 825, 2nd in wins with 141 and 2nd in earnings with $2.3 million.
