Sophomore trotters impress in Liberty Bell Stakes

Philadelphia, PA— Jakarta Hanover (International Moni, Todd Schadel, $6.20), Ihaveadream De Vie (Andover Hall, Geo. Napolitano Jr, $4.80), and Loveyoubunches (Fordham Road, Todd Schadel, $3.60) captured victories in their respective $30,000 harness racing divisions of the Liberty Bell Stakes at Harrah’s Philadelphia on Sunday (Oct. 1).

In the first Liberty Bell Stakes trot, Happy Chopper (Corey Callahan) took the early lead out of the gate, in between Jakarta Hanover on the outside racing in second and Duchamp S (Sarah Svanstedt) on the inside in third. Jakarta Hanover moved to the front to take the lead, leaving Happy Chopper in second as they passed the quarter mile in :28.

Jakarta Hanover led the way by a length, with Happy Chopper pursuing from the pocket in second. Duchamp S followed in third. They passed the half mile in :57.2.

Jakarta Hanover was holding on to the lead, with Happy Chopper following in second, and Duchamp S racing in third as they passed the three-quarter mile in 1:26.

As they turned for home, Jakarta Hanover had the lead by five lengths over Happy Chopper. Southern Moni (Simon Allard) started to move to the front from the outside, stealing second. Jakarta Hanover crossed the wire first in 1:55.1, three lengths over Southern Moni. Duchamp S finished in third.

Green Zone (Jacqueline Ingrassia) took the early lead in the second stakes race of the day. She Shaq (Sarah Svanstedt) followed in second and Ihaveadream De Vie was racing in third. Green Zone had the lead by three and a half lengths as they passed the first quarter mile mark in :28.

As they passed the half mile in :57.4, She Shaq was closing in on Green Zone, who still led the way. Ihaveadream De Vie followed closely in third.

From the outside, Ihaveadream De Vie hustled up to the front to challenge Green Zone for the lead. Hl Soho (Harry Landy) moved to battle She Shaq for third as they passed the three-quarter mile in 1:27.1.

At the top of the stretch, Ihaveadream De Vie was the leader. She Shaq followed in second, passing Green Zone from the inside. Ihaveadream De Vie finished first in 1:56.4. A gap of two heads back, She Shaq came in second. Green Zone finished in third.

IHAVEADREAM DE VIE REPLAY

Ihaveadream De Vie, a 2-year-old mare, is trained by Christopher Lakata and owned by Joie De Vie Stable LLC.

In the last Liberty Bell Stakes trot of the day, Tracks Of My Tears (Jacqueline Ingrassia) took the early lead, in between Loveyoubunches and Upallnight Hanover (Sarah Svanstedt) in second and third, respectively. From the outside, Loveyoubunches moved to battle Tracks Of My Tears for the lead. They passed the first quarter mile in :29.1.

Loveyoubunches had the lead by two lengths over Tracks Of My Tears. Upallnight Hanover followed in third. They passed the half mile in :58.2.

Loveyoubunches led the way by three lengths over Tracks Of My Tears, with Upallnight Hanover following closely in third. They made their way passed the three-quarter mile mark in 1:27.3.

As they made their way down the stretch, Loveyoubunches led the way. Tequini Hanover (Corey Callahan) moved towards the front from the outside, while Upallnight Hanover passed Tracks Of My Tears from the inside. Loveyoubunches crossed the wire first in 1:57. Tequini Hanover finished in second and Upallnight Hanover came in third.
