FORT WASHINGTON, MD – Rosecroft Raceway will offer a rare Saturday evening harness racing program May 15 with a first-race post of 7:15 p.m.
The feature race will be the first, a $10,000 Maryland preferred Open Handicap with Precision Blue Chip the 5-2 morning-line favorite. The consistent 6-year-old has won six of 10 starts this year, and 17 of 37 since 2020.
Russell Foster drives for owner-trainer Courtney Brooks. Classic is listed at 7-2 for trainer Charlene Sharpe and driver Trae Porter. The 5-year-old gelding won consecutive starts in April by a total of 12 lengths before finishing second last out.
Rosecroft is limited to 300 spectators daily in addition to Maryland Racing Commission licensees affiliated with live racing.
Rosecroft will race Wednesday and Sunday through the remainder of May. The facility will be open for simulcasting Wednesday through Sunday.
