SRF supports the care of 424 trotters and pacers all in need of homes, and helps an average of 700 new Standardbreds annually. Some of these noble trotters and pacers come directly off the track, but many are in great need, already weighed to ship for slaughter. Support of this semi-annual raffle changes the lives of so many.
(The USTA, and the ASPCA will not support organizations helping horses tagged to ship for slaughter.)
Standardbred Retirement Foundation provides human care and services for horse in need of lifetime homes, and in crisis, through rehabilitation, training, adoption, life-long follow–up or life time sanctuary and offering therapeutic equine opportunities for children and adults.
