42 Arneytown-Hornerstown Rd., Cream Ridge, NJ 08514
Schedule of Fun:
1:30 – 2:15 The Newark, NJ; Philadelphia, Pa.; and the NJ State Police Mounted Units will parade a few of their adopted Standardbreds from SRF. Several were saved from slaughter by SRF and now live a life with dignity. SRF will join with a few adoptables!
2:15-2:45 Those who reserved to try a free-legged pacer will get their chance. Many signed up and many may just show up. SRF will try to accommodate everyone they can. ( A free-legged pacer is one that does not require tack to force that gait, it comes naturally. (Most are super comfy! )
2:45- Line Dancing Demo and dancing, and the farm tour.
3:30 The drawing for the gift auction!
During this time there are food trucks, and a dessert truck; a tack sale; roasting marshmallows; holiday gifts for sale; and 75 horses to meet, all hoping to find a home!
Staff and volunteers will be available to answer questions and introduce guests to the horses.
SRF suggests to bring a lawn chair, ideally a stool so you can see the action of the horses in the ring. All is outdoors and the weather forecast is looking sunny! Should anything cause another rescheduling or a cancellation it will be posted on Facebook and SRF will send an email.
The farm is located at 42 Arneytown-Hornerstown Rd., Cream Ridge, NJ 08514. There are several entrances so look for the SRF horse head sign! Carrots, treats and new friends are always welcomed so fill up your vehicle, and please share this invitation! This event is free, but of course SRF hopes for a holiday donation for the horses! This 34 year old non-profit depend on 94% of it’s funding from individual tax-deductible donations.
