Cream Ridge, NJ – In twenty-seven years of the Standardbred Retirement Foundation’s, (SRF) fundraising golf events, only one person has hit a “hole in one”, until 2021! SRF has a new winner and it’s been waiting for confirmation from the insuring company for the hole to make it official.
Today, it was received!
At SRF’s event on June 1st, Darran Cassar, a long time supporter of SRF’s golf events, hit one right into the $10,000 hole! Today, SRF issued the long time horse trainer the check.
Darran, in the white cap in the photo, to the left of Dexter Dunn in the white shirt, was quite patient waiting for the official notice and payout. SRF was thrilled to make this exciting announcement.
Enjoying the fun in his foursome was Andrew McCarthy to his left, and Brian Sears, all shown here with smiles.
