Cream Ridge, NJ – March 7, 2022 – The Standardbred Retirement Foundation, (SRF) seeks a Trainer-Barn Manager, and Administrative Assistant /Adoption in Cream Ridge, NJ.

The horse training position requires a minimum of 10 years of horse experience in the area of training horses under saddle; managing a herd of more than 40 horses for injuries and general health. The position includes training horses to the saddle and gait training; working with adopters; organizing assistance from volunteers; working with the veterinarian, farrier and dentist, horse event planning and other responsibilities.
The candidate must have superior organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task. This is not a show horse operation, it is suited for someone with passion for the wellbeing of horses. The position offers medical coverage, paid time off, and holiday pay.
The operation is located in Cream Ridge, NJ. Administrative/Adoption position requires an individual with horse experience and an administrative background. Manage, oversee and assist in the key program of the mission, welfare; adoption; database of horses, applicants, and adopters.
