Donations to SRF matched until Nov. 30

The largest number of former harness racing horses the Standardbred Retirement Foundation, (SRF) has had under its care and expense in 32 years is right now.

Keeping the bellies warm on the 484 trotters and pacers will be a monumental undertaking this winter. Ms. Cheryl Scordliss, a long-time horse lover and supporter of SRF’s mission, has offered a $10,000 match gift to help with this challenging responsibility of stocking the haylofts and filling the grain bins through the winter.

Matching dollar for dollar up to $10,000, every tax-deductible donation to SRF between now and through “Giving Tuesday” on November 30th, 2021 will double the impact of getting these horses fed during the toughest time of the year.
