WASHINGTON, PA, Sept. 7, 2022 — Stonebridge Armour (Muscle Mass-Armbro Vanquish) stalked patiently from the pocket while Horoscope did the heavy lifting on the lead, then blew by in the Lightning Lane to capture Wednesday’s (Sep. 7) harness racing feature at The Meadows, a $13,300 Conditioned Trot.
Horoscope reeled off a swift 1:25 three-quarters but tired late, inspiring a number of challenges. But Stonebridge Armour was best positioned, brushing for driver Ridge Warren to prevail in 1:54.1.
Saint K put in a huge effort, moving first up from last, but fell 1/2 length short, with Who Made Who third.
J.L. Adams trains the winner, a 4-year-old gelding who boosted his lifetime bankroll to $111,665, for Martin Valentic.
