Freehold to race 85 days in 2022

Freehold, NJ — Freehold Raceway has announced today that the track will host 85 days of harness racing in 2022, up slightly from the 82 scheduled dates in 2021.

The 2022 winter/spring meet will begin on Saturday, January 1, and run until Saturday, May 28. Racing will be conducted on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays in January, and on Fridays and Saturdays the rest of the way.

Following the customary summer break, the summer/fall meet will commence on Friday, August 26 and run until Saturday, December 31. Live racing will take place on Fridays and Saturdays throughout that stretch. Notably, there will be live racing on Christmas Eve.

First post time each day will be approximately 12:30 PM.
