Tack Room Chatter dominates from the front

Tack Room Chatter (Huntsville) prevailed in the Saturday feature at Saratoga Casino Hotel. The Mark Beckwith trainee scored in front-running fashion in the $13,000 Winners Over for pacers which served as the feature with no Open Pace on the docket on the ten-race harness racing card.

Tack Room Chatter was one of several droppers from the Open to compete in the Saturday feature and leading driver Brett Beckwith cut the four year old pacer loose up the backstretch for the first time.

The race’s 6-5 betting favorite travelled unopposed throughout the majority of the mile and withstood a two-pronged challenge in the stretch from pocket-sitter Im No Outlaw N (Jimmy Devaux) and ground-saving Carrythetorchman (Wally Hennessey).

The Beckwith trainee prevailed by a length in 1:52.4 to record his eighth victory of the 2024 season. Carrythetorchman finished second for the second consecutive week while Im No Outlaw N earned the show spot. Tack Room Chatter is owned by Glenn Goller and Steve Demeter. 

TACK ROOM CHATTER REPLAY

Live racing continues on Sunday with a matinee that starts at 12pm. There is a carryover of $3,296 in the Pick Five pool for the Sunday card. The Pick Five begins in the afternoon’s first race.
