Anderson, IN— An exciting evening of Indiana Sire Stakes action took place at Harrah’s Hoosier Park on Wednesday evening (Oct.4), and Talent Scout (Swan For All, Dexter Dunn, $6.80) stole the show in the $95,500 harness racing trot for three-year-old colts.
Ponda Jet (Kyle Wilfong) took the early lead, with Helpfirstedition (John De Long) following in second. As they made their way around the first turn, Talent Scout moved into the two hole. After a quarter of :26.4, Ponda Jet was leading the way, with Talent Scout in second and Helpfirstedition following in third.
As they passed the half mile in :55.3, Ponda Jet had the lead by a length and a half over Talent Scout.
Jailhouse Dance (Michael Oosting) started to move up from the outside, fighting Talent Scout for second. As they passed the three-quarter mile in 1:25.1, Ponda Jet was the leader, with Jailhouse Dance in second, and Talent Scout racing in third.
Talent Scout moved up from the inside, passing Ponda Jet to steal the victory by three-quarters of a length in 1:53.1. Ponda Jet finished in second and Full Strength (Atlee Bender) came in third.

Lets Go Endofaera (Jk Endofanera, John De Long, $5.20) captured the first of two Indiana Sire Stakes for two-year-old pacing fillies with a purse of $67,500. All Jk (Trace Tetrick) took the early lead from the middle of the track. Lets Go Endofaera followed closely in second, and Topville Ohsolucky (Marvin Luna) was racing in third. All Jk had the lead by a length as they passed the first quarter mile in :28.
Continuing up the backstretch, All Jk was holding on to the lead, with Lets Go Endofaera in second. They passed the half mile in :56.2.
All Jk led the way with Lets Go Endofaera in second. Scramjet (Lewayne Miller) started to move to the front from the outside, stealing second as they passed the three-quarter mile in 1:24.4.
From the inside, Lets Go Endofaera moved to the front to battle All Jk for the lead. Lets Go Endofaera crossed the wire a length ahead of All Jk in 1:52. Topville Ohsolucky came in third.

Lyin’ Eyes (Odds On Equuleus, Joey Putnam, $11.60) won the $68,000 second division. Out of the gate, Bluebird Ina (Billy Carter) took the early lead, with Desired Luck (Robert Taylor) following in second and Lyin’ Eyes racing in third. Bluebird Ida had a two and a half-length advantage as they passed the quarter mile in :26.3.
Lyin’ Eyes moved up on the outside to steal the lead from Bluebird Ida as they passed the half mile pole in :55.4.
Lyin’ Eyes was holding on to the lead, with Teelatini (Peter Wrenn) and Mystical Glance (Jordan Ross) in a battle for second. They passed the three-quarter mile in 1:25.3.
Lyin’ Eyes crossed the wire in 1:52.3, a length ahead of Teelatini in second and Flirtin Fanera (Ricky Macomber Jr) in third.
