Tellitlikeiseeit (Tellitlikeitis) played hardball early with a challenger and drew off to score an open length harness racing victory in the first of two $18,000 condition claiming paces on Friday’s card (Nov. 7) at Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway.

Tellitlikeiseeit

A winner of two straight efforts, Tellitlikeiseeit (Brett Miller) was not content to take back and was hustled to the lead, parking Rosetown Eclipse (Cameron McCown) through the opening panels in a blistering :26 and :53.2.

The four-year-old gelded son of Tellitlikeitis opened a three-length lead at the three quarters in 1:20.4.

He effort to bottom out the field was successful with an easy :30 final quarter to secure the 6-length win in 1:50.4 over the ‘good’ surface.

Mctorious (Trevor Smith) saved ground and edged Free The Madness (Austin Hanners) by a half-length to take the place spot.

TELLITLIKEISEEIT REPLAY

Tellitlikeiseeit is trained by Steve Carter for Caldwell Mamie Racing.

The second division saw trainer/driver Pat Mellow, Jr. grind out a first-over victory with Draw Off in 1:52.4.

The field was sent on their way and Twenty Five (Chris Page) received the first call. Sinatra Hanover (Luke Hanners) was not content to race from the pocket and took the lead shortly after the opening quarter in :27.4.

The second quarter saw limited action on top, allowing for a :29.1 breather.

Draw Off, the lukewarm favorite, was forced to go the long mile and was stride for stride with Sinatra Hanover at the three-quarters in 1:24.4.

Draw Off did just that and pulled away from the field to score the 2 ¼ length victory over Who Dey Nation (Brett Miller) in the passing lane.

Sinatra Hanover was better than Heerz Popeye (Cameron McCown) in the show photo.

Draw Off is a four-year-old son of Heston Blue Chip and is owned by Melloy and Lisa Gosselin.

Chris Page recorded a grand slam during the 14-race card and Tyler Smith had a driving triple.

Dayton Raceway returns to action on Saturday (Nov. 8) afternoon with a 14-race card starting at 4:00 PM.
