Saints Design (St Patricks Day) made every pole a winning one and won the $50,950 Bally’s Dover Late Closer Final for Three Year old Trotting Fillies. It was her third consecutive harness racing victory.

Saints Design left quickly and duplicated her previous trips by racing on top. She set sail trotting to the opening quarter in 28.3. Driver Corey throttled back her speed, reaching the half in 1:00, a pedestrian 31.2 2nd quarter.
The field remained single file until Marino Bluestone started her journey racing first over from fourth down the backstretch. Both fillies Saints Design and Marino Bluestone were side by side reaching the three quarters in 1:30.2. Peggys Girl saved ground along the pylons. The rest of the field was struggling.
At the top of the stretch, Saints Design trotted into another gear. She won by five and three quarter lengths trotting her mile in 1:59.4. Marino Bluestone finished 2nd and Peggys Girl was 3rd.
Saints Design ( St. Patricks Day ) is owned and trained by Virginia Louthan of Felton, Delaware. It was her biggest victory. Corey Callahan drove.
