WASHINGTON, PA, Nov. 11, 2022 — Off stride before the start, Roll Em (Time To Roll-Feetonthedashboard) made up for his sluggish beginning with a torrid close that carried him to victory over a sloppy, rain-soaked track in Friday’s (Nov. 11) harness racing feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $15,400 Conditioned Pace.

Roll Em and driver Ronnie Wrenn, Jr.

The 3-5 favorite, Roll Em regained his gait and got away sixth before picking up the live first-over cover of Bereaved Hanover. The 4-year-old gelding accelerated for Ronnie Wrenn, Jr., through the final turn and drew off to a 1-1/2-length victory in 1:51.4 in the slop. Summer Travel and Torrin Hanover completed the ticket.

ROLL EM REPLAY

Ron Burke trains Roll Em, who now boasts a career bankroll of $339,285, for Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi LLC, Frank Baldachino and Beasty LLC. He paid $3.40 to win.

Aaron Merriman and Dave Palone each piloted three winners on the 13-race card.

Friday’s program featured large pool guarantees plus mandatory payouts for both the Jackpot Pick 5 and the Jackpot Super Hi-5. The Jackpot Pick 5, with the pool guaranteed at $50,000, produced handle of $79,376.59 and a payout of $29 for each correct ticket. The Jackpot Super Hi-5 and its $75,000 guarantee generated handle of $101,563.20 and a return of $2,145.94 for each winning ticket.

Live racing at The Meadows resumes Tuesday, first post 12:45 PM.
