Tioga Downs hosts NYSS action Friday

Tioga Downs welcomes two divisions of the New York Sire Stakes (NYSS) for freshmen harness racing pacing fillies on Friday (July 15).

Twin B Joe Fresh (Roll With Joe-Fresh Breeze) with driver Jason Bartlett is the 2-1 morning line favorite in the $54,500 first division.  The filly is trained by Chris Ryder.  She is two for two in her young career getting a Geers Stakes win at the Meadowlands and a NYSS win a Saratoga.

The Ray Schnittker trained Hunting Season (Huntsville-That’s How We Roll) will be driven by Tyler Buter and is the 3-1 second choice.  The filly is two for three in her career including a NYSS win at Saratoga.

Unbeaten Vivians Dream (American Ideal-Sports Chic) for driver Wally Hennessey) is the 2-1 morning line choice for the $55,500 second division.  She is two for two so far this season with NYSS wins at Buffalo and Saratoga.  The filly is trained by Cory Mumford.

The first timer American Starlight (American Ideal-Hayleighs Hat), driven by Mike Whelan, is the 3-1 second morning line choice.  The filly is trained by Walter Whelan.

The 12-race card starts at 6:15 p.m.
