Hennessey continues winning ways

Harness racing driver Wally Hennessey just continues to roll as he added four more wins to his total including a win with Vicious Circle in the featured $7,800 fillies & mares pace at Tioga Downs on Friday (September 3).

Vicious Circle ($7.30) went to the front and led to the first quarter in :27.0. Shecouldbegood N (Mike Merton) went on by to take the lead as they headed for the stands for the first time. She led to the half in :56.2.

Grant Me This (Braxten Boyd) came first-over as they headed down the backstretch. Grant Me This took a short lead and led to three-quarters in 1:24.2.

As the made the turn for home Vicious Circle squeezed through on the inside as Talk Show Chica (Corey Braden) came four-wide in the stretch. Vicious Circle got by to notch the victory in 1:53.2. Shecouldbegood N finished second as Grant Me This got third money.

Vicious Circle is a 4-year-old by Manhardt. She is trained by John Hallet for owners Souren Hovespan. Rick and Geoffrey Howles. It was her fifth win this season. She now owns 21 career victories.

Hennessey got his other wins Culinary Artist ($9.60), Baby Got Back ($2.40), and Machet Time ($8.20). Tioga Downs returns to Live racing on Saturday (September 4) with a 7-race card starting at 6:15 p.m.
