BJ Lorado (Bo W) with harness racing driver Aaron Byron won the featured $12,000 Open Trot at Tioga Downs on Monday (July 4).

BJ Lorado ($13.00) went straight to the front, but Credit List (Wally Hennessey) wrestled the lead away and led to the quarter in :27.2. Credit List uses a :29.1 second quarter and hit the half first in :56.3. Credit List cruised to three-quarters in 1:25.1.
BJ Lorado pops the pocket as they made the turn for home. BJ Lorado and Credit List battled all the way down the stretch. Believer (Mike Simons) squeezed in between them in deep stretch making it three across the track with BJ Lorado squeaking out the win in a seasonal best 1:54.3. Believer was second best as Credit List had to settle for third.
BJ Lorado is an 8-year-old gelding, and he is trained by Marc Major for owners Michael and Diane Norcross. It was his fourth win this season. He now owns 37 career victories.

Wally Hennessey drove four winners on the fourth. He was first with Tech Titan ($2.90), Rebellious ($3.40), Golden Kronos ($2.80), and Chief Beach ($4.10). Corey Braden had a driving double getting wins with Go With The Flow ($2.20), and Jammin Jack ($10.20),
