P L Notsonice finds another gear in top trot

PL Notsonice (Kadabra) and driver Ridge Warren easily captured the $12,500 featured harness racing trot at Tioga Downs on Friday (August 18).

Creekside Pete (Corey Braden) was first to the quarter in :28.  PL Notsonice ($2.30) goes right on by with a circuit to go and led to the half in :56.2.  She was well in control going down the backstretch and led to three-quarters in 1:25.1.

As they made the turn for home PL Notsonice found another gear and just cruised home to win in 1:53.4.  Creekside Pete was second best.  Knight Angel (Tyler Miller) finished third.

PL Notsonice is a 6-year-old mare owned by Elite Harness Racing LLC and trained by Steven Brabrook.  It was her fifth win this season.  She now has 24 career victories.

Mike Merton drove three winners on the night.  Ridge Warren and Tyler Miller both had driving doubles.
