Harness racing driver Jim Taggert Jr. won the co-features with Swans Eye (Swan For All) and So Diva (So Surreal) at Tioga Downs on Friday (September 15).
Swans Eye ($3.50) captured the $12,500 featured trot.

Swans Eye was first to the quarter in :28.0. She used a :29.1 second quarter to be first to the half in :57.1. She continued to be in firm control as she led to three-quarters in 1:26.0.
As they made the turn for home, she had plenty in the tank to win easily in 1:54.3. MacMorris Hanover (Bruce Aldrich Jr.) was second. BJ Lorado (Wally Hennessy) finished third.
Swans Eye is a 4-year-old mare owned and trained by Rocco Fava. It was her third win this season. She now has 10 career victories.

So Diva ($4.20) took the $12,500 featured fillies & mares’ pace.

Prairie Westerngal (Tyler Miller) was first to the quarter in :26.4. So Diva grabbed a short lead but Talk Show Chica (Corey Braden) took over command with a circuit to go and led to the half in :55.3. Talk Show Chico was first to three-quarters in 1:24.0.
As they reached the stretch So Diva popped the pocket and went right on by to win in 1:52.3. Talk Show Diva had her win streak snapped after seven straight wins and had to settle for second. PL Princess C (Jeff Long) finished third.
So Diva is a 5-year-old mare owned by Rita Scharman and trainer Michelle Warner. It was her fourth win this year. She now has 23 career victories.

Taggert Jr., Wally Hennessey, and Ridge Warren all had driving triples.
