$117,300 NYSS action Sunday at Tioga

Tioga Downs plays host to two harness racing divisions of the $117,300 New York Sire Stakes (NYSS) for sophomore pacing fillies on Sunday (June 2).

Tarrific (Huntsville) and driver Jason Bartlett are the 8-5 morning line favorite in the $58,100 first division.  The filly has 4 seconds and a third in nine career starts.  She is trained by Chris Ryder.

Her top competitor appears to be the Jeffrey Smith trained Verity Blue Chip (Courtly Choice) and driver Jim Marohn Jr.  The filly is two for two in her young career.

Camerican (American Ideal) and driver Joe Bongiorno are the 5-2 favorite in the $59,200 second division.   The filly is trained by Ron Burke.  She is one for one in 2024.  She has four career victories.

Leanne’s Choice (Courtly Choice) and driver Marcus Miller) are her top rival.  Trained by Ron Burke, the filly has three career wins.
