Feature pace won on cruise control at Tioga

PL Princess C (Thinking Out Loud) and harness racing driver Jeff Long coasted to an easy win in the $10,000 featured fillies & mares’ pace on Friday (July 26) at Tioga Downs Friday (July 26).

Mary Kat (Marcus Miller) was first to the quarter :27.2.  April Ava (Braxten Boyd) took the lead with a lap to go and led to the half in :56.4.  PL Princess C ($5.20) made her move first-up going down the backstretch.  She hustled by to take the lead to three-quarters in 1:24.3

As they reached the stretch PL Princess C found another gear and won easily in 1:52.4.  April Ava held on to finish second.  So Diva (Jim Taggert Jr.) came up to get third.

PL Princess C is a 5-year-old mare, trained by Paul Long for owners Charlene and Jeff Long.  It was her fifth win this season.  She now owns 15 career victories.

PL PRINCESS C REPLAY

Driver Aaron Byron combined with trainer Jeff Byron for three winners on the card.  They won with Lyons Night Hawk, Spittin Chicklets, and Pick Me Up Hanover.

Tioga Downs returns to live racing on Saturday (July 27) with an 11-race card starting at 6:15 p.m.
