Harness racing driver Marcus Miller drove four winners at Tioga Downs including the $13,000 featured fillies & mares’ pace with 27-1 longshot Abby Rose (Heston Blue Chip) on Friday (August 23).
In the feature Forgot Thewallet A (Braxten Boyd) led to the quarter in :26.2. She used a :29.2 second quarter and was first to the half in :55.4. Sweet Cheyenne (Tyler Miller) was first to make a move going first-up down the backstretch but she was just spinning her wheels. Forgot Thewallet A was first to three-quarters in 1:22.3.
As they headed down the stretch Abby Rose went to the outside as So Diva (Jim Pantaleono) slipped through on the inside. Abby Rose used a late burst to get the win in a lifetime best of 1:51.2. So Diva finished second. Forgot Thewallet A had to settle for third.
Abby Rose is a 6-year-old mare and is owned by Mali Norbye and trained by Randy Taft. It was her fifth win this season and her 19th career victory. She paid $56.00 to win.

Miller combined with trainer Irv Miller to get his other three wins. They won with Melanies Megan, Two Of A Kind, and Bolt Of Beauty.
Tioga Downs returns to live racing on Saturday (August 24) with a 13-race card starting at 6:15 p.m.
