Tioga has promotions for closing night

Nichols, NY – Tioga Downs will end its successful harness racing season on Saturday (September 21).

On closing night, the five-eighths from Nichols, NY will give their yearly awards. Braxten Boyd is the top driver. Rob Harmon once again is top trainer.

On the promotional side of the evening, Tioga Downs will also be giving away a 2024 Toyota Corolla LE as a part of our Horseplay Car Giveaway promotion that is sponsored by the Purple Haze Standardbred Adoption Program. So far, Tioga Downs has raised over $4,000 through this promotion with all the money going to local charities. Tioga Downs matches the total amount raised each month to double the donation for the given charity.

Saturday’s races will start at 6:15 p.m. The 10-race card will be followed by season-ending fireworks spectacular.
