Tom’s Twilight (Sweet Lou) has never been the fastest harness racing horse in the opening quarter of a race, but he is usually one of the fastest at the end of a race. Thursday night (Mar. 14), driver Frank Milby sent his charge bravely after the favorite and pace setter Itsallabouthfaith N, and in the final strides pulled a 29-1 shocker in the $12,000 Open I pace at Rosecroft.
Roger Hans trains the winner for breeder and owner Tom Cooke, as Tom’s Twilight closed in :27.4 to win in 1:51. It was one of two wins for Milby who won at 19-1 with West Is Best for trainer Eric Foster and owner Eric Foster Jr.

It was a new lifetime mark for the five-year-old.
