ANDERSON, Ind.—August 29, 2024 – Lets Go Endofaera (JK Endofanera-Let’s Go Higher) put her harness racing dominance on display yet again in the lone $94,500 division of Indiana Sire Stakes for sophomore pacing fillies at Harrah’s Hoosier Park on Thursday (Aug. 29).
Pacing to her fourth straight sub-1:50 victory, Lets Go Endofaera was as advertised as the 1-9 bettor’s choice in the penultimate sire stakes leg for the division.
Driver John De Long settled Lets Go Endofaera in the third spot out of the gate while Lyin’ Eyes (driven by Joey Putnam) protected her rail starting position to lead the field of seven to the quarter in :26.2. Lyin’ Eyes maintained control to the half in :55.3 before De Long sent Lets Go Endofaera on her way first-over to challenge the leader. Under light De Long urging, Lets Go Endofaera paced clear of Lyin’ Eyes to assume command on the far turn, guiding the fillies to three-quarters in 1:23.1.
Turning for home, Lyin’ Eyes looked live as she quickly ripped back out of the pocket at the top of the stretch before Lets Go Endofaera countered and quickened. Steamrolling home in :26.3, Lets Go Endofaera opened up by 2-1/4 lengths on the line to secure the victory in 1:49.4. Lyin’ Eyes held for place while Jada Caroline (Marvin Luna) rallied up the rail for show.
LETS GO ENDOFAERA REPLAY
With her only starts on the year thus far coming in the first seven legs of Indiana Sire Stakes, Lets Go Endofaera has won six of seven in her three-year-old campaign. Jesse De Long bred and co-owns the filly along with John and William De Long. Trained by Tabby De Long, last year’s two-year-old sire stakes champion now sports career earnings of over a half-million dollars, having made $222,390 now at age three.
Indiana Sire Stakes continues at Harrah’s Hoosier Park on Friday (Aug. 30) with a pair of divisions for the two-year-old pacing colts featured on the 13-race card. The card also includes a heavy-weight bout in the $21,000 Open Pace which will see millionaire Little Rocket Man, Dan Patch runner-up Coach Stefanos, and Gene Riegle Memorial winner Low Rider face off in the evening’s ninth race.
The Friday card will kick-off with a $7,500 guaranteed pool in the Early Pick 5 (races 1-5) with a carryover of $1,736.00. The evening will conclude with a $10,000 guaranteed pool in the Hoosier High 5 (race 13). First post on Friday is 6:15 p.m.
