WASHINGTON, PA, Aug. 18, 2020 — Touchamatic moved powerfully first over and rolled on to a convincing harness racing win in Tuesday's feature at The Meadows, a $10,800 Filly & Mare Conditioned Pace.
Touchamatic was away third, and when Aaron Merriman tipped her off the cones, she gobbled up the leader, Amelia's Courage A, and scored in 1:51.3. Always Giggling rallied from last for second, 1/2 length back, while Camera Lady shot the Lightning Lane for show.
Bill Bercury trains the 6-year-old daughter of American Ideal-Perfect Touch who now boasts 33 wins in 100 lifetime starts and earnings of $477,954, for Renee Bercury.
Jim Pantaleano collected three wins on the 15-race card.
Live racing at The Meadows continues Wednesday when the 15-race program features a $16,576.67 carryover in the final race Super Hi-5 and an $853.81 carryover in the Early Pick 5 (race 2). First post is 12:45 PM.
