Harness racing trainer Anthony Urbanowicz has been fined a total of $7,000 and suspended for seven months for having three horses from his stable come up positive for Cobalt at Monticello Raceway. He will be suspended through June 19, 2024.
Other fines and suspensions of interest include driver Bryson Dunning, who has been fined $500 and suspended for 184 days as he drove in a careless and/or reckless manner and failed to maintain reasonable control of ELM GROVE QUAIL as the horse repeatedly ran up on and into the back of another driver at Harrahās Philadelphia.
Driver Jason Bartlett has been fined $1,000 for kicking a horse during a race. It was the fourth time this past year that he has been fined for this offense.
