Harness racing trainer Clarence Foulk has been fined $1,000 and suspended for one year after his horse, Threefiftytwo, was found to be positive for Methamphetamine after racing at Springsfield, OH on Nov. 3, 2023.
A split sample was sent to an independent lab, which confirmed the positive results. Provided Mr. Foulk does not appeal the decision, the suspension will be reduced to 180 days.
In other news, trainer Andy Shetler, having been found with possession of hypodermic needles, syringes and/or injectable and/or other drugs back on June 13, 2022, at Hoosier Park, has exhausted his appeal process and is fined $3,000 and suspended for 400 days (minus 149 days for time served).
