HARRISBURG, PA — Horsemen are reminded that the entry box for the Thursday and Friday PA Fair Sire Stakes races at the Somerset County Fair closes at 10 a.m. Tuesday (tomorrow). Entries can be called in to 610 513 7957; or made online — note that the harness racing track abbreviation for entering is "MEYER," as in Meyersdale PA, the location city.
GPS machines can set an address of 7842 Mount Davis Road, Meyersdale PA 15552.
Two-year-olds will go to post at 2 p.m. on Thursday, and three-year-olds at noon on Friday. This is the first time harness racing has been held at the Somerset County Fair in over 50 years.
