Tioga Downs played host to two divisions of the New York Sire Stakes (NYSS) for 2-year-old filly harness racing pacers on Friday (July 15).
Twin B Joe Fresh (Roll With Joe-Fresh Breeze) and driver Jason Bartlett cruised to win in the $54,500 first division.
Hunting Season (Tyler Buter) took the lead just before hitting the quarter first in :27.0.Ā Ā Twin B Joe Fresh ($2.70) took control with a lap to go.Ā Ā She was first to the half in :56.2.Ā Ā Zira (Cory Braden) came first-up to challenge down the backstretch.Ā Ā Twin B Joe Fresh shook her off and led to three-quarters in 1:24.1.
As they made the turn for home Twin B Joe Fresh had plenty in the tank and coasted to an easy win in 1:52.3.Ā Ā Hunting Season was second best.Ā Ā Kissin Joe finished third.

Vivians Dream (American Ideal-Sports Chic) and driver Wally Hennessey held firm to win the $55,500 second division.
Earthwindfire (Jack Pelling) led to the first quarter in :27.0.Ā Ā The lead was short lived as Vivians Dream ($4.90) bolted to the front as they headed to the stands for the first time.Ā Ā She was first to the half in :56.2.Ā Ā Vivians Dream continued to control things as she led to three-quarters in 1:24.4.
As they made the turn for home Earthwindfire popped the pocket and came all out after the leader.Ā Ā Vivians Dream dug in as second place finisher Earthwindfire gave one last lunge.Ā Ā Vivians Dream won in a lifetime best of 1:52.1.Ā Ā Ideal Star (Mike Merton) finished third.
