Harrington feature won by a nose

HARRINGTON, DE – Hutt Racing Stable’s Twin Delight (Bettor’s Delight) and harness racing driver Allan Davis were a 1:53.1 winner in the $22,500 Mares Open Tuesday (May 7) at Harrington Raceway.

The 4-year-old mare notched her 2^nd Open level win of the meet for trainer Jim King Jr., over Grandeur Seelster and Incaseyoudidn’tknow.  Grandeur Seelster led most of the way, while Twin Delight bided her time in the pocket before emerging through the stretch for a narrow win. She paid $9.60 to win.

Cathy Spinella’s Need Ur Opinion (Warrawee Needy) and Davis teamed up win her fourth straight race in a $12,500 claiming event, in 1:55.1 for trainer Phil Mitchell. It was the 3^rd win on the card in just four races for driver Davis, who finished with 6 wins on the card.
