Co-features to Credit List, Warrawee Unique

Credit List (Justin Huckabone) and Warrawee Unique (Leon Bailey) won the harness racing co-features at Vernon Downs on Saturday (October 16).

Credit List ($3.80) captures the $7,500 Open 1 Trot.

Discus Hanover (Leon Bailey) went to the front and led to the first quarter in :28.0. He used a :29.4 second quarter to hit the half in :57.4. Double Dealing (Jimmy Whittemore) was first to make a move first-over but when on a break. Then Discus Hanover went on a break just before three-quarters.

Credit List then went to the front and led to three-quarters in 1:27.0. As they reached the stretch it was all Credit List to win easily in 1:56.1. Spoiler Alert (Brett Crawford) was second best. Hotfoot Hannah (Steeven Genois) finished third.

Credit List is a 6-year-old gelding by Credit Winner. He is owned by Jonathan Applebaum and trained by Huckabone. Credit List wins for the 12th time this season. He now has 23 career victories.

Warrawee Unique ($2.30) crushes the field to win the $7,500 Open Pace.

Warrawee Unique charged right out of the gate and went right to the front and led to the first quarter in :27.4. A :28.4 second quarter got him to the half in :56.3.

He breezed to three-quarters in 1:23.4. As they made the turn for home the race was for second place as Warrawee Unique cruised to the easiest of wins in 1:51. Gunpowder N (Justin Huckabone) finished second. Major Leaguer (Jimmy Whittemore) collected third place money.

Warrawee Unique is a 5-year-old gelding by Sweet Lou. He is owned by Betcha Win Stable LLC and trained by Jeff Sorenson. It was his seventh win this season and his 15th career victory.

WARRAWEE UNIQUE REPLAY

Bailey drove four winners on the card. He got his other wins with Phoenix ($4.00), Mr Dunnigans ($4.50) and he combined once again with trainer Sorenson to win with Samson J ($9.30). Justin Huckabone drove three winners on the night. He got his other wins with Ulysses Bi ($7.30) and trained his other winner, Lyons Pegasus ($4.30).

Vernon Downs returns to live racing on Friday (October 22) with a post time of 6:10 p.m.
