Lepanto (Barton Dalious) was first to the quarter in :26.2.Ā Ā He used a :29.1 second quarter to be first to the half in :55.3.Ā Ā Majestic Sunset (Jack McNeil) was first to make a move going first-up heading to the final turn.Ā Ā Lepanto shook him off and was first to three-quarters in 1:25.4.

As they made the turn for home Makadushin N Cheez (Jimmy Whittemore) popped the pocket as HP Maestro (Ray Fisher Jr.) came three-wide.Ā Ā Telenovela ($7.80) made her move like she was shot out of a cannon and blew on by to win equaling her lifetime best of 1:55.1.Ā Ā HP Maestro was second.Ā Ā Makadushin N Cheez finished third.
Telenovela is a 4-year-old mare owned by Daley Double Racing and trained by Claude Huckabone III.Ā Ā It was her sixth win of the season.Ā Ā She now owns 12 career victories.
Driver John MacDonald had a natural hat trick winning the last three races.Ā Ā He got his wins with Cloudbreak, Dream On A Roll, and Nolaughingstock.
