Milleniums Girl ($5.60) blasted out for the lead and lead to the quarter in :26.4.Ā So Diva (Chris Long) came first-up going down the backstretch.Ā Milleniums Girl was first to the half in :56.3.Ā The two mares battled all the way around the final turn.Ā Ā Milleniums Girl led to three-quarters in 1:25.4.
As they reached the stretch Milleniums Girl broke free and it became a race for second.Ā Milleniums Girl won easily in 1:53.4.Ā The Hunt Is On (Truman Gale) fired late to finish second.Ā Jeannies Terror (Tom Merton) collected third money.
Milleniums Girl is a 5-year-old mare trained by David Dewhurst for owners Chris and Dale Lawton.Ā It was her fourth win this season.Ā She now has 14 career victories.
